Disclean Brick Cleaner has been formulated for
the final washing down of new brickwork and
re-pointing. It contains approx 17.5%
Hydrochloric Acid and is about twice the
strength of other Brick Cleaners available from
many of the builders merchants. Its blend of acid and surfactants effectively removes excess mortar stains from
brick and tile surfaces
Dilution:
Use neat or diluted with clean water as conditions require. 1:1 is usually sufficient but doubtful surfaces should
be tested with a weaker solution. Always pour water into an empty bucket first and carefully add the Disclean Brick
Cleaner. Use rubber or polythene buckets only.
Directions of use:
Using clean water thoroughly pre-wet an area to be cleaned. Using a natural fibre scrubbing brush or low pressure
spray (50psi maximum - avoid contact with metal parts) freely apply the solution. Leave for up to 5 minutes and
then rinse off thoroughly with fresh water.
Coverage:
Approximately 6 square metres per litre of neat material.
Disclean HD Brick Detergent
Application:
Disclean HD Brick Detergent is a concentrated formula designed for cleaning heavy staining such as long term build
up of atmospheric pollution on brick and masonry as well as general soiling. It is non-acidic and ideal for both
interior and exterior application.
Dilution:
May be diluted 1 part concentrate to 2 parts water. Concentrated solution may be used in areas of extreme soiling.
Directions of use:
Wet the surface with clean water and apply HD Brick Detergent with a soft bristle brush. Allow a dwell time of
about 30 minutes but do not allow the material to dry. If drying begins to occur mist the surface lightly with
clean water. Before rinsing, gently scrub the surface until the soiling is removed. Rinse thoroughly with clean
water. Pressure washing will improve the result but is not necessary.

Dependant upon the severity of the stain.
Disclean Patio Cleaner
Application:
Disclean Patio Cleaner is a carefully balanced acidic based cleaning agent with numerous uses in the garden. Brighten
up paths, patios, ornaments, stone walling and terraces removing green algae and atmospheric pollution. Makes slippery
York stone safe and restores natural colours.
Directions of use:
Dilute with equal amount of water in a plastic container and scrub onto paving with a deck scrubber or bass broom.
After 5-10 minutes, wash thoroughly with water. A second application may be necessary. Terrazzo, new or coloured
paving may suffer some colour loss or smooth surface may be lost. Recommend small test first with a weaker solution.
Coverage:
Neat approximately 6 square metres per litre.
Limitations:
Will kill seedlings and young plants but established plants will be more resilient. Splashes have burning
effect and should be washed off well with plenty of water. Will attack all metals.
Disclean Algae & Moss Remover
Application:
Disclean Algae & Moss Remover has been specially developed to effectively remove algae growths and prevent
their return. It contains an active biocide that safely breaks down the cells of growth allowing the treated area
to be quickly swept clean. Following application moss will rapidly turn brown, allowing the user to judge effectively
when the treatment has successfully destroyed the growth. Suitable for both interior and exterior use on most modern
surfaces.
Directions of use:
Dilute at a rate of 10-25% solution depending upon the severity of the moss/algae to be treated. Apply to the desired
area using spray or brush. For best results allow the solution time to effectively penetrate the growth, turning
brown as the biocide breaks down the cells. Scrape or brush the dead matter off after treatment. After use rinse
the treated area and allow to dry.
Coverage:
As with all cleaning products, it is recommended that the product is initially used on a small discreet area to
ensure suitability for use. Ensure that all users wear suitable Personal Protective Equipment.
