Mix the RENEW Carpet Shampoo with clean water as instructions. Note: Warm water , up to max. 50° C. increases the cleaning efficiency of the solution

Fill the fresh-water tank up to the "Max." line with the cleaning solution.

Place dirty water container in the housing and put lid on.

Put power plug into socket.

Switch on unit with the "Suction" and "Spray" buttons.

To spray - press lever on grip section of floor or hand tool, and keep it pressed. This allows the solution to be sprayed on and into the fibres and then vacuumed in the same process.

Go over the surface to be cleaned in overlapping strips with the floor or hand tool, working backwards.

When the dirty water reservoir is full or the fresh-water tank is empty of solution, it is essential to turn the unit off with the "Suction" and "Spray" buttons.

Remove cover , take out dirty water reservoir and empty.

Repeat above procedures as necessary.

Always test a small hidden area of the carpet or upholstery for colour fastness prior to cleaning.

Normally dirty carpets:

Add 100ml of RENEW WS carpet shampoo to every 7 litres of warm water and then clean the carpet in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. Use machine as above.

Heavy soiled or stained carpets:

Add 150ml of the RENEW WS shampoo to every 7 litres of warm water and then clean the carpet in accordance with the manufactures instructions. Use machine as above but do not switch on the vacuum button -simply spray the solution onto the carpet and leave for 10-15 mins. Then go over the area with both the "Suction" and "Spray" buttons switched on.

Always test a small hidden area of the carpet or upholstery for colour fastness prior to cleaning.

The more sensitive the fibres (Oriental rugs, Berber carpets, upholstery) - the less RENEW WS Shampoo should be used.

Hemp backed carpets can shrink if over wetted - and colours can run.

Brush deep pile carpets when they are wet in the direction of the pile (e.g. with a pile brush or scrubber).

Better cleaning results are achieved if warm water is used ( max. 50° C.)

Pre-spot badly stained areas separately with RENEW Stain Remover and follow instructions on the container.

Always work from light to dark, that means from windows to doors.

Always work from the cleaned area to the non-cleaned area.

Do not walk on cleaned areas or place furniture on them until they have dried.

The fresh-water tank can be emptied simply by suction:

Take Floor Tool or Hand Tool off suction hose Hold suction hose in the un-used cleaning solution in the fresh-water tank and switch on the unit with the "Suction" button. The cleaning solution which has been suctioned off collects in the dirty water reservoir - empty reservoir.

Put Floor Tool or Hand Tool on suction hose.

Fill fresh-water tank with approx. 2 litres of clean water (without shampoo) and place floor tool in fresh-water tank.

Switch on "Spray" button and let the unit and accessories rinse thoroughly for 1-2 mins.

Switch off unit and remove plug from socket.

Operate lever on Floor Tool or Hand Tool to relieve pressure in the system.

Empty fresh-water tank and dirty water reservoir.

Clean unit with cloth.

With the Puzzi 100 the Floor Tool can be located in the carrying handle for storage after use.
